OUR STORY

I orea te tuatara ka patu ki waho. Persistence creates solutions.

What Ever It Takes has been established by Charmeyne Te Nana-Williams and her husband Peter Williams.

Peter suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2002 because of a boxing match. At the time Peter and Charmeyne had 8-month-old twin daughters and they had to battle to try to return home and remain together as a family. Once they did return home the next challenge involved bringing together a highly competent team of rehabilitation assistants and caregivers (Kaiāwhina) to support them as a family and Peter’s rehabilitation goals.

This programme has been developed because of Peter and Charmeyne’s personal experience and is based around the simple philosophy of creating a completely conducive environment to care and rehabilitation.

Our employees are highly skilled individuals who have a passion for working in the community with families. They are provided with specialized training relevant to the client they will be working with and we support professional development pathways recognizing our employee’s contribution to the delivery of our care programmes.

We encourage a family environment whilst always remaining professional and undertaking our role with integrity. We recognise it is a privilege to support our clients in their home and we understand the responsibility that entails.

OUR WHAKATAUKĪ DESCRIBES OUR VISION:

Tau maarea ki uta
Taiparatia te amorei

“A legacy epitomised by the passion in which the journey is discovered”
